The logo was changed to its current form when the show returned in syndication in 1984 with Alex Trebek hosting. During the first season of the syndicated version, the logo was rotating around a blue globe superimposed on the screen.

From this season on, the main logo would be used for the season, which would appear on the game board and additional screens. A more stylized version would be used only in the opening and would sometimes vary greatly from the main graphic.

The camera pans out to show the Jeopardy! logo, and two glass doors close, opening to reveal the 2009-2013 set. The 2009-2013 set becomes primary in the studio and remains until the end of Season 29. Starting with this season, the Final Jeopardy! logo returned to the contestant podium monitors at the end of each episode. The Jeopardy!
