A mother and her pet dog were badly hurt when an out-of-control XL bully dog barged into their home and bit them. Donna Mawby and her French bulldog Darcy were attacked at their home in Mountsorrel, Leicestershire, in February 2024.

An XL bully dog clamped its jaws onto a police officer’s leg, leaving him with serious injuries, dramatic bodycam footage from Leicestershire Police shows. Two officers attended an address wanting to speak to Aden Hollyoake on 26 October 2023.

The footage, taken from the officer’s body worn camera, shows him shouting in pain struggling to release the dog which had clamped his jaws onto his upper inner leg.
