A Greensboro officer and Greensboro business work together to keep the name and memory of fallen Officer Michael Horan alive.

The Greensboro Police Department and assisting agencies will be escorting Officer Michael Horan back to Greensboro from Raleigh on Friday, Dec. 27.

It’s been over a week since Greensboro Officer Michael Horan was killed at a Food Lion on Lawndale Drive. Police Chief for the City of Cape May Dekon Fashaw knew Michael Horan when he was in the Coast Guard in New Jersey.

Greensboro police said Tarell Isaac McMillian was charged with first-degree murder for killing officer Michael Horan inside a Food Lion on Lawndale Drive.
