Haywood is a four-star offensive tackle prospect and the No. 78 player in Rivals’ class of 2025 rankings. He was the top uncommitted recruit heading into the February signing period as the 77 players ahead of him had signed with their schools in the December early-signing period.

The final National Signing Day window opened once again Wednesday morning and runs through April 1, with Michigan football signing 4-star Ty Haywood.

Michigan football has just two commitments in the 2026 recruiting cycle: four-star cornerback Brody Jennings and wide receiver Jaylen Pile. According to Rivals, Pile is a four-star, but he is a Composite three-star recruit out of Dallas (TX) Parish Episcopal.
