New Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel has retained his first player from New England's 53-man roster, as Jeremiah Pharms has reportedly signed a two-year deal with the team.

Pharms was set to be an exclusive-rights free agent this offseason, which meant he was locked in to a cheap one-year deal if the Patriots wanted to bring him back. But instead of offering the minimum tender, New England signed Pharms to a multi-year deal that included more money.
