PHOENIX — The Phoenix Zoo announced one of their beloved animals died. Noelle, a fennec fox, died at the age of 12, the Phoenix Zoo said in an Instagram post on Jan. 7.

Zoo officials said Noelle stood out for her sweetness toward her four-legged roommates. Her closest friends were Hunter, the zoo's 9-year-old male fennec fox, and Loki, a male leopard tortoise.
