Catherine, Princess of Wales revealed on Tuesday that she is in remission from cancer, following a visit to the London hospital where she was treated last year.

The princess made a surprise visit to the Royal Marsden Hospital in Chelsea, London, on Tuesday to meet medical teams and offer support to patients.

The Royal Marsden in London, where the Princess of Wales underwent treatment, is one of the world’s leading cancer hospitals.Rated outstanding by the regulator the Care Quality Commission (CQC), it has an international reputation for research and thrives on pioneering the use of cutting-edge cancer treatments.

Kate and William, the Prince and Princess of Wales, confirmed their patronage of the hospital where she had cancer treatment, the Royal Marsden Hospital in London.

Princess Kate made the announcement on social media after visiting the London hospital where she received treatment.
