Cole Palmer remains a doubt for Chelsea’s Premier League clash with Tottenham next week as he has still not returned to full training. The 22-year-old is still suffering with the muscular problem which saw him miss Chelsea’s defeat to Arsenal last time out.

Chelsea sorely missed Cole Palmer when he was injured for their defeat to Arsenal, a game in which they never really threatened to score. They are optimistic that he will return after the international break, but any further setbacks would be catastrophic.
