WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - The Jeopardy tournament of champions came to an end for a Purdue professor tonight. Adriana Harmeyer of West Lafayette had 15 straight wins on Jeopardy over the summer and won a total of 349-thousand dollars during her time competing on Jeopardy. Those wins earned her a spot for the Tournament of Champions.

Adriana Harmeyer , Isaac Hirsch, and Neilesh Vinjamuri faced off in game two of Jeopardy! ‘s Tournament of Champions on Monday, February 10, with Harmeyer holding a lead over her rivals after winning game one.

It was a tight race Thursday night as Indiana's Adriana Harmeyer competed in the final round of the "Jeopardy!" tournament of champions. In the end, she tied with Isaac Hirsh for second place, while fellow champion Neilesh Vinjamuri took first.

Although the local "Jeopardy!" super champion didn't take first place, Adriana Harmeyer was still able to walk away with a $75,000 prize.
