The Trojans (16-1; 6-0) came into the game as one of three unbeaten teams in the Big Ten (UCLA and Ohio State) with an average margin of victory in conference play of 21.6 points. This was their first game in Bloomington and only the second-ever matchup between the programs.

BLOOMINGTON — Indiana women's basketball coach Teri Moren plans on sticking with the revised starting lineup she debuted in a 73-66 loss to No. 5 USC that featured Karoline Striplin in place of Lilly Meister.

Indiana never gave in. USC led 70-61 with 2:15 left, but a 3-pointer by Moore-McNeil finally ended Indiana’s field goal drought and a jumper by Bargesser with 1:25 left gave Indiana a chance and cut the deficit to four, 70-66.

USC, after a week off, was not at its very best, but the Trojans regrouped in the fourth quarter to fend off Indiana and stay unbeaten in the Big Ten.

Despite the Hoosiers leading by double digits in the first half and by 4 points in the fourth quarter, they fell 73-66 to the Trojans in Bloomington.
