The recent 5-star safety rating from the NHTSA has thrilled Elon Musk to the extent that he recalled he also manages a car company. Following the announcement of the results, Musk stated, “Cybertruck is apocalypse-level safe.

Ever since Tesla first unveiled the Cybertruck design back in 2019, many gearheads around the world have been roasting it, sometimes even calling it an abomination. However, the truck's angular, futuristic design still appealed to a lot of people.

Tesla's Cybertruck may boast a polarizing design, but the federal government says it's certainly not an unsafe one. According to the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration's testing, the Cybertruck has received five-star ratings in multiple safety trial crash tests — and appears even safer than most pickup trucks in at least one category.
