One person is in custody after a student was fatally stabbed at a high school track meet in Frisco Wednesday morning, police say.
Frisco police said an altercation between two students led to a stabbing which left one dead and the other facing a murder charge.
The meet was suspended Wednesday after Austin Metcalf, a 17-year-old athlete from Frisco Memorial High School, was fatally stabbed during an altercation.
Frisco Police identified 17-year-old Karmelo Anthony as the suspect in the fatal stabbing of 16-year-old Auston Metcalf at a Texas track meet. Authorities confirmed Anthony’s arrest on Wednesday, charging him with First Degree Murder.
