It showed up for the hardware-focused presentation for a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment that included little more than a few seconds of new gameplay and confirmation of Team Cherry’s updated launch plans.

Silksong' will be released on Switch 2 in 2025. The game was revealed at the Nintendo Direct event. The sequel was first announced in 2019. Team Cherry originally planned it as downloadable content but expanded it into a full-scale game.
