The countdown to the Nintendo Switch 2 launch has finally begun. Here's where you can preorder your own console

Nintendo has delayed its plans to to let gamers in Canada pre-order the upcoming Switch 2 console. The company has confirmed in a statement that the delay was done to “align with the timing” of pre-orders in the United States,

Nintendo has now delayed Switch 2 preorders in Canada "to align with the timing of pre-orders to be determined in the U.S."

We now know a price for the Switch 2 Welcome Tour, which acts as a user tutorial for the various new features of the Nintendo Switch 2. According to IGN, the game will cost $10. A representative for Nintendo did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Nintendo Switch 2 troubles have been extended to our neighbors north of the border. Pre-orders for the highly-anticipated hybrid console have been delayed in Canada just before they were slated to begin.

Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders hit the shelves en masse today, with Amazon, Argos, Very, EE, and Nintendo all dropping their stock. Things moved faster at some stores than others - Amazon sold out in all of half an hour while Argos still has handhelds on the shelves at the time of writing.
