The city is rebuilding two bridges back-to-back and closing Mayflower Road between Fillmore Road and Edison Road until 2026. One is over the South Shore Railroad, the other is over Ardmore Trail.

A new lacrosse tournament called the Mayflower Cup will debut during April school vacation week. Plymouth South, Plymouth North, East Bridgewater, and Bourne will compete in the inaugural tournament.
