Ryne Stanek to re-sign with Mets after postseason heroics
Ryne Stanek is set to re-sign after re-emerging as a postseason weapon last fall. It’s a one-year, $4.5 million contract with the potential for another $500,000 in incentives, according to MLB.com. The Mets originally acquired Stanek, 33, in a pre-deadline trade with the Seattle Mariners last July.
