While Jefferson County does not have medical marijuana on the ballot, residents in more than 50 counties and cities around the state voted Tuesday on whether or not to allow cannabis businesses to operate in their regions. As of 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, no city or county ballot measure had failed.

Voters in 15 South Central Kentucky counties and cities were tasked with deciding whether or not to allow medicinal cannabis businesses to operate in their areas. The question was met with resounding “yeses.
