Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively remain locked in a legal battle, which was initiated when the latter accused her It Ends with Us co-star and director of sexual harassment on set and of launching a smear campaign against her.

The It Ends With Us drama just got even messier, with new claims that director Justin Baldoni’s religious beliefs may have played a role in the on-set tension.

The new allegations were part of an amended complaint filed late Tuesday by Lively, including that Baldoni’s Wayfarer partner and billionaire Steve Sarowitz allegedly told a witness he will protect the studio “like Israel protected itself from Hamas.
