Results of the 2025 count show homelessness dropped by 3.4% in the city of L.A. and by 4% countywide, according to LAHSA.

Data from LAHSA in 2025 shows that homelessness in the county stands at 72,308 people, with about 43,669 of them in the city of LA.

For the second year in a row, the number of homeless people in the Los Angeles region has declined. The L.A. Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) points to "city and county initiatives" for the drop.
