The Duke Blue Devils were defeated by defending national champions the South Carolina Gamecocks 54-50 in the Elite 8 of the Women’s National Championship in Birmingham, Alabama. South Carolina led 52-50 going into the final 30 seconds and turned by ball over to Duke but regained possession after the Blue Devils fired up an air ball giving the ball back to the Gamecocks on the rebound with 7.
