Multiple Middle Tennessee school districts will be closed on Wednesday, February 19, due to the winter storm risk in Tennessee and Southern Kentucky. A decision to delay plans for a Northeast branch leads to frustration from residents.

Fannin County School System: All schools will be on a virtual learning day on Wednesday. Schools will be closed, but all directors, principals, and 12-month personnel should report on a 2-hour delay. Lumpkin County Schools: All students and teachers will have a virtual learning day on Wednesday.
