Former Chicago Bears running back David Montgomery had a clear message about what kind of coach Ben Johnson is.

There's been plenty of excitement with the Chicago Bears hiring Ben Johnson as their new head coach, and rightfully so. Johnson led a top-five Detroit Lions for the past couple of seasons, and he's the perfect guy to help develop quarterback Caleb Williams.

The Bears officially announced the hire of Johnson on Tuesday. Johnson had helped build an explosive offense in Detroit. Over the last two seasons, no unit has averaged more points per game (30.1) or net yards per game (402.2) than the Bears under Johnson.
