King Charles is collaborating with actor Idris Elba for an as-yet-unnamed documentary about The King’s Trust, a charity Charles founded in 1976.

Yui Mok - WPA Pool/Getty Images King Charles and Idris Elba are teaming up on a new Netflix documentary exploring the impact of The King ‘s Trust, in celebration of the charity’s 50th anniversary.

The documentary, which begins filming next week and will launch on Netflix in Autumn 2026, is produced by 22 Summers, a production company founded by Idris Elba and Diene Petterle.
