The Arch Manning era has begun for Texas and leading college football analyst Joel Klatt is expecting big things from the teenager, ranking the Longhorns among the favorites for the national title

Quinn Ewers was that guy. He was the No. 1 recruit, the first perfectly graded quarterback in the 247Sports Composite since Vince Young. His initial decommitment from Texas in 2020 as a high school recruit portended the end of the Tom Herman era.

Arch Manning is expected to bring Texas football to a new level taking Quinn Ewers' place as the Longhorns' undisputed leader.
