Over 73 lakh devotees participated in the Maghi Purnima dip at the Sangam during the Maha Kumbh mela in Prayagraj

AI-enabled cameras and drones have been deployed in the Mela area to monitor every movement of devotees to ensure adequate security.

The Maghi Purnima marks the conclusion of the month-long Kalpavas, and nearly 10 lakh kalpvasis are set to leave the Kumbh after completing their spiritual stay.

With just 15 days to go for the Maha Kumbh to end, over 45 crore people have taken a dip at Sangam since the grand event began on January 13, the Uttar Pradesh government said on Tuesday. The Maha Kumbh will end on February 26 with the last major 'snan' on the occasion of Mahashivratri.
