A Los Angeles County area transient suspected of murdering his own father in Monrovia late last month was arrested Wednesday night. Deputies found the victim, who was not identified, dead inside his apartment on the 100 block of West Olive Avenue on Feb.

A man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing his father to death in February. The original incident happened on Feb. 22 at an apartment in the 100 block of W. Olive Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
