Kultida Woods, the mother of Tiger Woods, golf’s biggest star, died Tuesday, according to the 15-time major winner. He did not provide give her cause of death.

Kultida Woods, mother of Tiger and a bedrock foundation in his life from his earliest moments to his most recent ventures, died early Tuesday morning, the legendary golfer announced. She was 80 years old.

However, Kultida never missed an opportunity to support her son both on and off the golf course. She joined her grandkids, Sam Alexis and Charlie Axel, at Tiger's induction into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2022, and was often seen on the fairway cheering on Tiger and sporting her signature oversized black glasses and visor.
