Tropical Storm Erin tracks west, likely to become hurricane this week
“Tropical Storm Erin continues to move westerly through the Atlantic. Still over 1,900 miles away from the Leeward Islands. It is TOO EARLY to determine what, if any, impacts (will be) across West Central Florida,” the office wrote in a post on X Tuesday.
Erin will likely become the first hurricane of the Atlantic season this week and it will be a wet week in New Orleans.
