The Hoboken PATH station is set to close for about a month starting Thursday night – leaving nearly 20,000 daily station riders scrambling for alternate routes to get to Manhattan.

The Hoboken PATH train station reopened Tuesday morning for the first time in nearly a month. The station has been closed for weeks of renovations, including extensive track work.

The Hoboken PATH station will reopen on time at 5 a.m. Tuesday after a massive rehabilitation project that closed the facility for 26 days, Port Authority of New York and New Jersey officials said.

As promised, PATH reopened Hoboken station on as promised on Feb. 25 after $31 million in renovations. Commuters were treated to free rides, coffee coupons and brighter station.
