A fan who collapsed and needed CPR at the Memphis Grizzlies game vs the Spurs on Monday has been moved to an ICU room and is alert and talking.

The start of a game between the Memphis Grizzlies and visiting San Antonio Spurs was delayed on Monday night after a fan sitting courtside had a medical emergency. Medical personnel were summoned to the court moments before tipoff to tend to the fan while players were on the court preparing for the start of the contest.

SAN ANTONIO — Just as the Spurs and Grizzlies were preparing to tip off in Memphis, players quickly retreated to the sidelines and into their locker rooms while FedExForum personnel responded to an apparently medical emergency involving a fan.
