A man is dead after a Greensboro police officer shot him during a confrontation Tuesday afternoon. It happened just after 4 p.m. on Marion Street.

Officials with the Greensboro Police Department have confirmed that they are investigating an aggravated assault Tuesday night. Officers were called the 6900 block of West Market Street at 9:05 p.m.
