The Israeli military issued evacuation orders on Monday for most of Rafah and suggested it may soon launch another ground operation in the city.

Israeli forces issued a new evacuation order for Rafah, Gaza's southernmost city. An NBC News crew spoke with people fleeing toward the Muwasi tent camp in Khan Younis.

The blaze, which is being called the Silver Fire, was reported at around 2:10 p.m. on Sunday near Highway 6 and Silver Canyon Road, just north of Bishop.

Aid agencies say the workers were killed and buried in a mass grave in Rafah, in southern Gaza. Residents described being shot at along the evacuation route.

Israel ended a cease-fire and renewed its air and ground war against the Hamas militant group earlier this month.

Authorities issued evacuation orders on Tuesday for an eastern Arizona mountain community due to a fire threat.
