Sarah Michelle Gellar is weighing in on the Buffy the Vampire Slayer revival series that is nearing a pilot order at Hulu. The star of the series would see Gellar reprise her role as Buffy Summers in a potential sequel that would have Chloé Zhao directing the pilot.

A few days ago we leanred that Hulu was developing a Buffy The Vampire Slayer sequel series with Sarah Michelle Gellar set to reprise her role as Buffy. The actress has now commented on the project for the first time on an Instragram post she shared,

Nora and Lilla Zuckerman will executive produce the Buffy reboot with Zhao, Gellar, and the original show’s EPs Gail Berman, Fran and Kaz Kuzui of Suite B, and Dolly Parton via Sandollar. Parton wasn’t a credited executive producer on the original show, which ran from 1997-2003, but her Sandollar Television was one of its producers.
