Nvidia’s RTX 5090 and 5080 desktop GPUs sort of launched last month, but on the laptop front, we’re still awaiting the avalanche of 50-series notebooks to come crashing in, starting with these hefty new mid-rangers from Acer.

Acer’s Helios laptops are gaming designs in the classic sense: big, chunky, and chock-full of high-power parts. The newest models of the Predator Helios Neo AI line don’t break with that tradition, upgrading to the latest Intel processors and newest Nvidia graphics cards.

The Predator Helios Neo 16 AI is set to launch in April 2025; the 18-inch variant will be available from May 2025.
