North Wales has some of the most well preserved castles in the whole of Europe, often with breathtaking scenery and fascinating history to discover.

Aberystwyth Castle is the town's main landmark, overlooking the sea, and visitors can still walk through the ruins of the Edwardian fortress that dates back to the 1200s.
