Grissom has served in the role as the Texans president since March 2021, according to his LinkedIn page. He has also spent the last 23 years with the organization, serving in many roles such as corporate development manager, director of corporate development, and senior vice president of corporate development.

The Texans announced Thursday that they parted ways with team president Greg Grissom. Grissom had been one of the longest-tenured employees with the organization, starting at the corporate level before rising through the ranks, eventually becoming the team president in March 2021.

Just a few days after announcing an amicable parting of the ways with team president and long time team employee Greg Grissom, the Houston Texans announced that Mike Tomon will be joining the organization as Grissom's replacement.
