It's taken some time, but T-Mobile finally seems set to expand its home internet offering. At its analyst day in 2021, it stated that it aimed to have 7-8 million customers on its then-new home broadband service by 2025.

Along with its 5G Home Internet service, the carrier plans on expanding its fiber presence after making some key acquisitions earlier this year.

T-Mobile US Inc. expects to increase earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization to as much as $39 billion by 2027.

T-Mobile's modems have screens on them so you can immediately see if the area where you placed your device has strong coverage without going into any apps. Verizon's box is more minimalist and instead relies on an LED light. If it's white, you're good; if it's red, you need to move it to a new location in your home.

T-Mobile aims to grow its wireless broadband subscriber base to 12 million by the end of 2028, in a bearish development for cable TV stocks.
