The NFL is listening to its fans, its teams and its players when it comes to uniforms. On Monday at the annual league meetings, the league informed NFL team owners that their clubs could wear their throwback or alternate jerseys up to four times in a 17-game regular season.

The NFL on Monday expanded the number of times that teams can wear alternate or throwback uniforms in a given season. The prior limit was three; the new maximum is four. Last year, the NFL increased the number of different helmets a team can wear in the same season to three.

The NFL has announced a new uniform policy for the 2025 season, and I have a feeling fans across the league are going to be happy about it. On Monday afternoon it was announced that teams are now allowed to wear their throwback and alternate uniforms up to four times this year.
