While accumulation totals for Saturday's snow are uncertain due to the storm's fast-moving nature, the NWS is confident that the southern areas of New Hampshire will likely see the highest amounts, with 6 to 8 inches possible. The middle part of the state will see 4 to 6 inches, with northern Coos county looking at just an inch or two.

There are two storm systems set to bring snow to New Hampshire in the next few days -- and the first one arrives Thursday. Ahead of the storm, a cold start to the day with increasing clouds and temperatures in the single digits above and below zero for many and even colder far north.
