Lt. Gov. Billy Nungesser did not mince words when it came to his thoughts on New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell ending a contract with IV Waste for French Quarter trash.

Mayor LaToya Cantrell issued a statement, saying she had submitted a 90-day notice of termination of the emergency sanitation contract between the city and IV Waste made in December of 2024.
