There's a new statue in San Francisco, and it's gigantic. The city on Thursday officially unveiled “R-Evolution,” a massive figure standing near the Ferry Building. It stands 45 feet tall and weighs about 32,000 pounds. San Francisco Recreation and Parks said it will stay in the city for at least six months.

"San Francisco's music scene has always been a powerful expression of the city's soul, making this collaboration with Ghazi and EMPIRE a natural fit for the debut of our new City Connect uniform," Rachel Heit, the Giants' chief marketing officer, said in a statement.

The new City Connect jerseys feature striking black tops adorned with white sound waves, coupled with eye-catching orange and purple gradients. This color palette is directly inspired by the iconic venues and cultural movements that have shaped San Francisco,
