Espanyol have accused Barcelona and Spain defender Mapi Leon of ‘violating the privacy’ of their player Daniela Caracas during a match. The alleged incident took place in the 15th minute of Sunday’s Catalan derby between the two rivals.

Espanyol has hit out at Barcelona defender Mapi León, who was caught on camera touching the privates of Daniela Caracas during a game on Sunday.

"There was NO inappropriate touching nor any intention of such, I insist, it's just a part of the game that doesn't deserve the attention or importance it's getting," wrote the Barcelona defender and Spanish international in her statement,
