A group of migrants who survived the capsizing of a boat off the coast of West Africa earlier this month began returning to Pakistan on Thursday, the country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

Pakistan reported at least 73 cases last year, up from only one in 2021, and the disease is now rapidly spreading in the country’s most volatile regions.
