OpenAI's new image-generation feature is on track to be one of the company's most popular product launches ever. According to Brad Lightcap, who oversees day-to-day operations and global deployment at OpenAI,

However, the moderation filter hasn’t been removed completely. OpenAI has made it clear that safeguards have been strengthened around images generated of children. It will detect and block any attempts of prompts that involve inappropriate content in this area, as well as doing the same for uploaded images.

Now everyone, even free users, can say goodbye to warped and misspelled text in their image generations - and hello to looser safeguards.
