The movie adaptation of local author Lori Nelson Spielman's book "The Life List" will premiere on Netflix on Friday.

As you may remember, Netflix first announced its partnership with The Roald Dahl Story Company in 2018 when it gained the ability to adapt the works of over 15 of the prolific author’s books. A few years later, they went one step further, acquiring the entire company in 2021.

Heading up the adaptation will be Margot Robbie in the lead role as Cathy. Robbie is also signed onto be a producer of the film too. The role of Heathcliff will be played by Jacob Elordi, who Emerald Fennell previously worked with on the movie Saltburn.

At the beginning of March, Just One Look landed on Netflix, and now Caught has arrived, promising even more twists and turns within its “gripping” storyline. Based on Coben’s book of the same name, Caught is the first Latin American adaptation of his work. The new Netflix series is set and filmed in Argentina.

If you love Netflix and you love anime even more, you’ll be pleased to know a video game adaptation is dropping in April 2025: Devil May Cry.

The Ash star told E! News in an interview published Tuesday, March 25, that she would "love to" star as the title character in The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, the upcoming Netflix adaptation of Taylor Jenkins Reid 's bestselling 2017 novel.

Speaking of comedy, funny guy Jim Carrey 's 2003 movie Bruce Almighty is also out on April Fool's Day. Sandra Bullock 's 2000 laugher Miss Congeniality, Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe 's The Nice Guys, and Nicolas Cage 's The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent are all bowing out, too, by month's end.
