It is the fifth Sunday of Lent and today’s gospel reading is quite long. It comes from John 11:1-45 on Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead.

Instead, Jesus waits two days and then tells them: “Lazarus is dead, and for your sake I am glad I was not there, so that you may believe. But let us go to him” (John 11:14-15).
