The sculpture will be part of Boston Harbor Now’s annual Waterfront Ice Sculpture Stroll on New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31, from 1 to 5 p.m. according to the aquarium. The event is free.

Donald Chapelle, founder of Brilliant Ice Sculpture in North Andover, carved a sculpture with his team on Boylston Street in Boston for the city's First Night celebration.

The sculptures will depict historical moments that led to independence and will be at City Hall Plaza from noon Tuesday until 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to the First Night Boston 2025 website.
