STATESBORO, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Beloved Georgia Southern University mascot, Freedom has died, according to school officials. School officials said Freedom passed away Saturday.
The Journal is the weekly newspaper of Williamston, Pelzer, West Pelzer, Piedmont, Powdersville, Moonville and surrounding communities in Anderson and Greenville counties in upstate South Carolina.
