Massachusetts-based Emerson College’s national poll shows Trump with a January approval rating of 49% compared to 41% disapproval and 10% who said they were neutral. The results, according to polling officials, mark the lowest disapproval rating for Trump since his first term in 2016-2020.

Some polls have also shown that the president has higher approval ratings among groups that don't traditionally vote Republican.

A new Emerson College poll, released Thursday, found Trump has a 49 percent job approval rating and a 41 percent disapproval rating. Another 10 percent of respondents were neutral, according to the poll.
