A foreign fugitive from Mexico has been arrested in Carson City by ICE officials. A warrant was issued in Mexico in February 2020 for Guillermo Verano-Cruz, charging him with aggravated sexual assault.

The FBI announced criminal charges against a woman who is accused of “deliberately and methodically” targeting older men to rob them of everything.

The top prosecutor said Phelps would find men online before meeting them in person. She’d drug the men, access their finances and steal from them. Grand jurors found in one case Phelps sold over $3 million of a victim’s stock in Apple. If convicted, Phelps faces a maximum sentence of life in prison.
